Foundation Golf Tournament auction a great success

AuctS4This year’s Foundation Golf Tournament auction was a great success, thanks to the help of many dedicated San Jacinto College employees. Leonard Pringle, Central campus culinary arts department chair, and Central campus culinary arts students treated visitors to a cornucopia of delicious appetizers and finger food.

Leonard is shown with Chancellor Dr. Brenda Hellyer, who welcomed visitors to the auction and introduced speakers during the presentation.

Others who provided valuable assistance for the auction include Susan Arscott, Nancy Thacker, Hollie Fulsom, Hannah McCue, Nicole Darland Haas, Martha Van Buskirk, and Ginger Lambert.

    Gumbo Gala a huge success

GG GroupSan Jacinto College Foundation Board Chairman Wayne Webb, Janis Bailey, Chancellor Dr. Brenda Hellyer, and Constable Bill Bailey welcomed a huge crowd of people to the very successful Gumbo Gala, held recently at the Pasadena Convention Center.

The event, which featured music by the River Road Boys and delicious shrimp gumbo prepared by Constable Bailey’s Pct. 8 employees, was a fundraiser to provide student scholarships for San Jacinto College.

Congratulations to employees Susan Arscott, Nancy Thacker, Devera Allen-Scheller, Ginger Lambert, Hollie Fulsom, and others who coordinated the fun event that supports a worthy cause.
