Our deepest sympathies go to Allen Pigeon on the recent passing of his father, Lee Berkley Pigeon, Sr.

Lee passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the age of 84 following a brief illness.

He graduated from Alamo Heights High School, San Antonio, Texas, in 1951, and earned a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Tulsa University in 1956. On July 30, 1955, he married L. Kay Clark in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Lee was employed as a chemical engineer by Eastman Kodak at the chemical plant in Longview from 1956 until his retirement in 1994. He was active in his church, Trinity Episcopal, President of the Humane Society of Northeast Texas for 27 years, an active member and board member of the Longview South Rotary for more than 20 years, a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, and a member of the Tryon Road Special Utility District Board of Directors for 38 years and served as Board President at the time of his death.

Lee is survived by his wife, Kay Pigeon; sons, Lee Berkley Pigeon, Jr., Allen C. Pigeon and wife Vanessa; daughter, Gail Pigeon; grandchildren, Kellee Pigeon and husband Kenneth Tuttle, Amanda Aguirre and husband Austin, Christin Orban and husband Scott, Ashley Pigeon, Brandon Pigeon, and Ryan Pigeon; and great-grandson Jameson Aguirre.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Margaret, and brothers Bradley Pigeon and David Pigeon.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Trinity Episcopal Church. Rev. Dr. Frank W. Hughes will be officiating. A reception for family and friends will be held in Fellowship Hall following the service.

Our deepest sympathies go to the family and friends of San Jacinto College retiree, Louis Hinojosa.

Louis was born on October 11, 1923 and passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 94.

Louis began working as a custodian at San Jacinto College in 1970 until his retirement in December 1992, after 22 years of service.

A wake will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. and a funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Pasadena, Texas. Internment will begin at noon on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
