We need YOU (and 599 of your colleagues)

Have you heard? San Jacinto College is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! And to commemorate the Golden Anniversary, we are taking a giant human 50 photo. But we can’t do it without YOU (and 599 of your closest colleagues). So, mark your calendar for Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. sharp, at the Central Campus track.

When you arrive, you’ll be lined up in either the five or the zero, and once we have everyone in place, we will snap the photo from 60 feet above. Please help us spread the word to your colleagues and students. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate!

See the flyer for more information. We hope to see you there for this commemorative event!

    SJC Flu Shots

In conjunction with our Flu Shot Clinic, the Safety Office is proud to announce our new program – COMMUNITY IMMUNITY. We are rolling out posters on campus and attached you will find printable materials for your office and classrooms. Together, we can help minimize the amount of germs and illness at the college with awareness and programs like the Flu Shot Clinic and Community Immunity. Remember, get your shot, cover your cough, wash your hands, and stay home when you are sick.

We will be on campus in the next few weeks offering shots once again. More information regarding when and where will be coming very soon. Again we will offer shots free to all employees (including part-time employees) and $20 for students and family members. We will be at all three campuses and District so make sure to come out and get your shot!

REMINDER: In order to get your free flu shot you will be required to have you SJC Employee ID. If you are new to the college or misplaced yours, this should give you plenty of time to stop by your library and get your ID. We appreciate your cooperation in this process.

We look forward to seeing everyone on campus.
