Chris Duke earns his doctorate degree

Friends and co-workers got together and threw a surprise graduation celebration for Chris Duke, Director of Curriculum Development, Innovation and Assessment.

Chris recently earned his doctorate degree from Texas A&M University, so he is now officially Dr. Duke (kinda has a nice ring to it).

A shiny, blinky star was pinned to the shirt of the star graduate to signify his brilliance, and everyone enjoyed cake, punch, and fellowship with the proud new graduate. Chris was also surprised when his wife Misty showed up at the party (along with their three cute daughters) to join the celebration.

Congratulations Dr. Duke on your outstanding achievement, and thanks for all you do for San Jacinto College!
