Fresh hot entrees now offered at the new Ravens Café at San Jacinto College Central

San Jacinto College Central unveils Ravens Café this week, featuring hot breakfast and lunch prepared daily in addition to the cafeteria’s two fast-food restaurants.

Launch of the new café aims to appeal to a variety of customers, especially those who prefer healthier food choices, such as salads, and hot meat and vegetable entrees. Featured weekly menu items include meatloaf, fajitas, fried chicken, and barbecue chopped beef sandwiches, all prepared on campus each day. A snack bar is also located next to the food line, complete with deli sandwiches, fruit and coffee smoothies, iced tea, Crystal Light, energy drinks, 100-calorie snack packs, and Otis Spunkmeyer products.

The café is open Monday through Friday with breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is located in the SJC Central cafeteria inside the W.M. Newton Student Center, which also features A&W and Pizza Hut. Weekly menus for Ravens Café can be found at
