The topic of Klinger’s presentation was “Home Sweet Away from Home.” Administrators and staff members learned how to make the most of their work environments and relationships on the job. They also learned about dealing with stress, finding solutions to workplace dysfunction, and steps to take to make their “home away from home” as sweet as possible.

The group also explored ways of removing barriers and restraints to workplace effectiveness. Hands-on activities included tic-tac-toe and thumb wars, through which Klinger illustrated valuable concepts of organizational effectiveness.

The meeting was coordinated by Rosemarie Munoz, who serves as administrative assistant to North campus President Dr. Allatia Harris.

“Mr. Klinger has a passion for educational administrators and professional staff members, and it was great to have him share his knowledge and motivation,” commented Munoz. “He is very personable, and there was so much positive feedback from everyone who attended the meeting.”
