Eddie works as an enrollment service specialist at the South campus, and is an outstanding role model. He graduated form North Shore High School in 2003, excelling in athletics and academics. He graduated from Northwestern University in 2007, earning a bachelor degree in communications. Eddie is currently pursuing a master’s degree in finance through Walden University’s distance learning program.

Speaking on the theme “Your Today Versus Your Tomorrow,” Eddie told those attending the meeting that the consequences a person lives out in the future are the results of right or wrong choices made today. He emphasized the benefits of positive character traits — being subject to persons in authority, maintaining an exceptional work ethic, staying committed to doing the right thing at all times.

Men of Honor is a college-wide initiative that provides helpful resources for African-American men. Lamar McWaine, North campus student life coordinator, helped organize the recent MOH meeting at the North campus.
