Decoration contest too close to call

District office employees competed in a friendly door decorating contest through the Christmas holiday season. The Three Wise Men (actually, it was one wise man, and two wise ladies) served as the judging panel to determine a winner. After careful deliberation, the 3 Campus Presidents — Dr. Neil Matkin, Dr. Maureen Murphy, and Dr. Allatia Harris — determined that the contest was too close to call, so the judges awarded a first place tie to two departments — the Business Office, and Human Resources.

Honorable mention for creativity was awarded to two offices — Vice Chancellor for Instruction and Services, and Research and Institutional Effectiveness.

The Grinch Award went to the Vice Chancellor of Fiscal Affairs office, which had a door decorated with nothing, nada, zilch, zero.

Be sure to see the slideshow at the bottom of this post to see random festive holiday scenes at the District office. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Water Cooler people!
