Submit your Summer Camp information soon!

Welcome back and happy new year!

In an effort to continue to increase participation in community programs such as Summer camps, the marketing department is collecting information about Summer camps now so that advertising and promotion of these activities can begin in March. In order for us to compile the most complete list of all Summer camps happening throughout the College, we need to get that information now to begin promoting in March.

If you plan to host a Summer camp in 2016, please complete the information form online at: http://www.sanjac.edu/summer-camp-formBy completing this form no later than January 29, 2016, you will be included in our promotional efforts. The marketing and advertising campaign includes a website listing San Jacinto College Summer camps, an eight-page insert in the March issue of Opportunity News in the Houston Chronicle, and various additional public relations and marketing efforts. In addition, Summer camps will be promoted with a news release and on the College’s social media sites.

The required information requested for each Summer camp is:

  • Camp Name
  • Brief Description
  • Age range for the camp
  • Dates
  • Times
  • Campus(es)
  • Cost
  • Contact Information
  • Number of participants expected

In addition, we will need to know if you will need an online web registration form (separate from Marketplace).

Once you submit your camp information, additional information will be sent to you regarding how to set up your camp in Marketplace, guidelines for hiring camp personnel, etc. You can also find this information on the internal site at: http://internal.sanjac.edu/camp-procedures.

Again, please fill out the camp information form online at: http://www.sanjac.edu/summer-camp-form no later than January 29, 2016, for your camp to be included in the marketing and advertising efforts for the 2016 Summer camps.
