Student Ambassador Update

via Orientation and Campus Tours

The San Jacinto College Student Ambassadors from Central, North, and South campuses gathered at the Maritime Campus on Friday, April 12, 2019 for a tour and information session. This is just one of many trainings the student ambassadors participate in to prepare for incoming college students each year.

Student Ambassadors are hired each semester to represent the College to all incoming and prospective students and their families during prospective campus tours, New Student Orientation, Student Development programs, and other projects as requested. Candidates go through a two-part hiring process which includes a panel interview and mock tours. Once hired, the ambassador participates in an ongoing training and shadowing program before they are eligible to work independently on a tour or New Student Orientation.

We are proud to work with these students daily. They are a true representation of the students we work with and are the epitome of student success.
