STEM/Honors Program at Johnson Space Center

A unique joint venture between Johnson Space Center Houston and the STEM/Honors program at San Jacinto College South Campus was made possible through the support of the San Jacinto College Foundation.

The project culminated on a unique student tour to the JSCH for more than 30 students. At JSCH students learned about the diverse career opportunities available at NASA through their past and present space and research programs from retired NASA propulsion engineer, Norman Chaffee.

During this guided tour of the JSCH facility, the students were able to see how dynamic STEM fields are and how diverse the career pathways are in human, science, aerospace and technology fields.
