SAFETY REMINDER: Hurricane Preparedness Information Online

We are heading into the peak of Hurricane Season with a potential tropical storm currently forming in the Gulf of Mexico. If you haven’t already began to prepare or update your Emergency Kit, now is the time! Below are some great resources and tools to make sure you are ready for any emergency including a power point and video of the Hurricane Workshop that was presented by the safety office in May.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Safety Office. We are closely monitoring the current situation in the tropics.

First, I would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the Hurricane Preparedness Workshops. We had a great turn out and I hope you all learned a lot. I know I did. J

For those of you who were unable to attend, we had several requests for access to the material. I have attached the handouts, the presentation was recorded and below are the links on YouTube, and the power point is on the Public Drive at P:SafetyHurricane Preparedness Workshop 5-26-11.
