Future educators receive visit from Population Connections

Lindsey Bailey, education program associate with Population Connections, recently presented to a group of students in Judith Maima’s education class at the Central Campus. Population Connections is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC. The organization leads hands-on workshops for pre-service teachers at universities and colleges around the country. The workshops are designed to train future teachers (of all grade levels) on how to give students classroom tools and strategies for discussing population growth and related social, environmental, and
economic issues.
