Condolences

Our deepest sympathies go to Jill Scott on the recent passing of her mother, Sharley Ann (Jackson) Patton.

Sharley was born on November 11, 1938 in Crockett, Texas, and passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018, at the age of 79.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Patton, and her parents, Charlie and Doris Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter Jill Scott and husband Lonnie; granddaughters Lauren Davis and husband Travis, Lana Scott and Leann Scott; sister Jackie Reed and brother Charlie Jackson and wife Debra; and numerous other close family members.

Sharley grew up in Grapeland and Crockett, Texas, and graduated from Crockett High School in 1957.  She loved sharing with others that she was Drum Major, Homecoming Queen and Football Sweetheart.  She married Howard on June 11, 1957.  They moved to Pasadena and were members of Richey Street Baptist Church, and later, First Baptist Church.

After Howard passed away in 1985, she worked at Freeman Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide.  When she retired, she began working in the First Baptist Church nursery.  She loved the Lord and enjoyed working with all the children.  She was very blessed to have many close friends and she treasured every one of their friendships.

Sharley loved her family and took pride in supporting her granddaughters in all that they did.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 19, 2018 at First Baptist Pasadena Chapel. The graveside service was held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett, TX.

Jill is the HRIS manager for Human Resources.


Our deepest sympathies go to Ernesto Wallmark, Jr., on the recent passing of his father, Ernesto R. Wallmark, Sr.

Ernesto Sr. was born in 1944 in Monterrey N.L. Mexico in 1944; he passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on October 09, 2018, at the age of 74.   He leaves behind a beloved memory that shall live on in life through his wife, Yolanda Duran; his children,  Ernesto Wallmark Jr., Alberto Wallmark and M. Patricia Wallmark; and grandchildren, Raziel, Diana, Gabriela and Alberto Jr.

Ernesto Jr. is the Contact Center Supervisor for IT.


Our deepest sympathies go to Danette Conaway on the recent passing of her mother-in-law, Louise Cloninger.

Louise (Gross) Conaway Cloninger passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at home in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on July 11, 1931 in Merryville, Louisiana to the late William Thomas and Ruth Mae (Cook) Gross.  She was one of a set of fraternal twins and the youngest of four girls.

Louise loved school and was a cheerleader, felt honored to be “Miss Polk County” in 1948, and was voted Most Popular senior girl.  She was always an active member of her church; her love and devotion to Christ was steadfast and strong throughout her life, even during difficult stages, changes, illnesses, and decisions that were imperative.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, T. C. Conaway and C. D. Cloninger; sisters and brothers-in-law, and a niece and nephew.

She is survived by three children and their spouses: David and Danette Conaway, Kathi Berridge and David Tietz, and Stacy and Michelle Conaway; six grandchildren and their spouses; two great-grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and two stepsons.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12 pm – 1 pm at River Bend Baptist Church.
