2014 San Jacinto College Campus Security and Fire Safety Report now online

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) and the Higher Education Opportunity Act were designed to assist students in making decisions that affect their personal safety, and to ensure institutions of higher education provide students, prospective students, staff, and faculty the information they need to avoid becoming victims of campus crime. Among other things, the Act calls for each college and university to annually publish a report to its students, faculty, and staff of the incidence of certain crimes that have been reported to campus security authorities as having occurred on the campus during the preceding calendar year, as well as campus security policies and statistics.
