  Schools App Essay Contest 

  We have launched the second round of the Schools App Essay Contest.  In July, 16 students received a scholarship after writing a 500-word essay about their Schools App experience.  The feedback we received was great and it shows us how the app is enhancing our students’ college experience.
  This is another chance for students, who are Schools App users, to receive a $1,400 or $700 scholarship.  Please encourage your students to apply.
  Share the attached flyer on campus and on college social media sites.

  Students Using Social Media in their College Search 

  

  Students are using social media more and more to look at colleges, and that’s why it’s so important to consider social media when recruiting.
  We’d like to share with you research that shows which social networking sites students are using the most in their college search.  Inigral, the company who created Schools App, put together this infographic to visually show you the data they collected from college-bound high school students.
