How sweet it is

Cynthia Espinoza with her culinary creations.

Kudos to North campus culinary arts adjunct instructor Cynthia Espinoza, who won two bronze medals in a recent Ben E. Keith cake decorating contest.

The names of her culinary creations are “Gator in a Pot” and “Enhancement Under the Sea.”

“Entering culinary contests pushes individuals to perfect the skills they know and to learn new skills,” commented Espinoza, who graduated from the North campus culinary arts program. “Whether one earns medals or not, it is always a learning experience to see what your peers are doing and a chance to network.”

The contest, which was held in Conroe, attracted 30 chefs from around the state.
