    May 2019 Board Meeting Recoginitions 

    The San Jacinto College Board of Trustees recognized several student organizations who placed at regional-level competitions. San Jacinto College Foundation scholarship donor, PVF Roundtable was also recognized for its longtime partnership with the College in providing scholarships for students in the pipefitting, welding, and advanced manufacturing programs.     The San Jacinto College Board of trustees recognized the South Campus SkillsUSA cosmetology and engineering design graphics teams for placing at the regional competition and advancing to the nationals that will be held in Louisville, Kentucky in June.     2015 Year in Review 

    The year 2015 was truly amazing at San Jacinto College. Some key highlights included a record number of graduates, completion of construction on the new Maritime Training Center, and approval of a $425 million bond measure to fund new facilities and renovations.

    Congratulations to all of the students, faculty, and staff for your many achievements and accomplishments.

    AEOP Recognized at Board of Trustees meeting 

    The San Jacinto College Board of Trustees recognized the College’s Association of Educational Support Staff Personnel (AEOP) at its meeting on Monday, Oct. 5.     August Board of Trustees meeting highlights 

    At the August 2015 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board recognized and thanked the Bayshore Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary for their continued support of San Jacinto College health science students. The group donates proceeds collected from the hospital’s gift shop to the San Jacinto College Foundation to be used toward student scholarships. At the meeting, the group presented the Foundation a check for $50,000 for scholarships.

    June Board of Trustees meeting highlights 

    At the June 1, 2015, Board of Trustees meeting, the San Jacinto College baseball team was recognized for its amazing season. The team earned its 23rd trip to the JUCO World Series. In addition, three trustees were administered the oath of office.
