Deputy Chancellor and College President, Dr. Laurel Williamson, recognized Kristen Foxley, who teaches mathematics in the South Campus College Preparatory and Developmental Studies Department, for being nominated and chosen as a finalist for the American Association of Community Colleges 2015 Excellence Award in Faculty Innovation. The award recognizes faculty who demonstrate leadership in the development and implementation of a campus program that has had a positive impact on the learning experience for students. Ms. Foxley was nominated for her leadership in re-crafting developmental education in mathematics, specifically for her work on AIM, Accelerated Instruction in Mathematics.
