Allied health faculty visit Clear Brook High School students

Faculty from the South Campus ADN, pharmacy technology, and vocational nursing programs recently visited health science students at Clear Brook High School to discuss their program requirements and employment outlook in their areas. The event was coordinated by Alexis Alexander, San Jacinto College shared educational planner at Clear Brook High School. Mario Garcia (pharmacy), Josephine West-Cherie Dyer (ADN), and Gabrielle Davis (vocational nursing) discussed basic information about their respective programs, and how some areas intersect in the medical workforce. Jessica Tello, San Jacinto College recruiter and educational planner, also attended to go over admission requirements to the College. Students from 9th-12th grade enjoyed the presentation and discussed any questions they had with the faculty. Overall, students enjoyed the informative sessions and took away great information.
