when i tried to empty my delete folder a prompt came up with the following.
“Outlook is synchronizing local changes made ot items in this folder. You cannot remove the folder until synchronization with the server is complete.”
is this prompt supposed to pop up? I just clicked on ok but nothing is happening.
Good Morning Ms. Osuna,
We have heard from a few employees that they are also encountering this issue. Luckily, there is an easy and painless workaround. At your convenience, using Internet Explorer, go to: https://access.sjcd.edu/owa. Your username will be: main\firstname.lastname and your password is your network password. Once logged in, go ahead and right-click on the Deleted Items folder. Then, click on Empty Deleted Items. Click OK when asked if you are sure that you want to delete all the items and subfolders in the Deleted Items folder. Depending on how many items you have in the Deleted Items folder, it can take a few minutes for the emails to be deleted.
If you still encounter any difficulties with this, please feel free to contact me: Norberto.Valladarees@sjcd.edu
I was looking at the tutorials and I do not have the quick access toolbar. How do I get this to show up.
Thanks
Hello Ms. Mott. In order to add items to the Quick Access Toolbar, please click on File, then Options, and then click on the Quick Access Toolbar. From here, you’ll be able to add items such as Print, Print Preview, Automatic Replies, etc. Please let me know if you need additional assistance.
Thank you,
Norberto Valladares

Do I have to go somewhere to active my student email or is it already activated? I am trying to log on to office 365, but my password keeps coming up as incorrect even though I am using my network password.
Hello Crystal. Your student email account is different from your employee email. Your employee email will require your network credentials. However, the login credentials for students is completely different. Instructions are available at: http://www.sanjac.edu/sites/default/files/First-Time-Accessing-Your-Account-4-20-18.pdf. If you still cannot log in, please contact Tech Support at 281-998-6137.
On Outlook, my San Jac email goes to my St. Thomas University email. How do I separate the two? Please respond to Annette.musgrave@icloud.com as I cannot access my San Jac email.
thank you, annette
Hello Annette. Thank you for your comment. I will reach out to you at the email you provided shortly. Thanks, Norberto
I recently applied to San Jacinto and I would like to access my email. Do I have to activate my San Jac email or how does that work? I use my credentials, but it tells me that my student id (email) is not found.
Hello Anabel,
Welcome to San Jacinto College! Once you have registered and paid for your courses, it normally takes one business day for your Office 365 student email account to be created. Instructions are available on http://www.sanjac.edu/email. The password will be your SOS password or your date of birth (mmddyyyy). Please let me know if you still encounter issues by contacting ITS.CustomerCare@sjcd.edu
What is my student email though? I’m unable to find any information. When I use my first name.last name@sjc.edu it doesn’t work. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.
Hi Ashleigh. Please give us a call at 281-998-6137 and we will be more than happy to assist you. Thanks!

Hello Tyde. Would you please send screenshots of what you are seeing to ITS.CustomerCare@sjcd.edu? I would like to get a better understanding of why you’re seeing this message.
Will I be able to access this account even after attending as a San Jacinto student?
Greetings Erika. Were you referring to your Office 365 email account?
