Subject: Banner Year End Closing
Who it affects: All SJC Employees
Starting: Wednesday, August 31st at NOON
Ending: Thursday, September 1st at 1:00 a.m.
As part of the business process of the College, the Business Office cannot have any transactions entered into Banner while they run the Fiscal Year End Closing. Beginning at noon Wednesday, August 31st, access to Banner and SOS will be unavailable to allow for this Fiscal Year End Closing Process.
All services will be restored by 1:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1st. Please remember to log out of Banner by 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31st, 2016.
The Banner TRAIN Database will be available for viewing access only through your PC, however will not be available via SOS. Any updates or transactions applied to the TRAIN Database will not be captured in our Production environment. The data in TRAIN will be current as of 08/31/2016.
This outage will affect the Banner and SOS systems.
