Working together, IT, the Business Office, Student Development, Enrollment Management, and Banner Student Systems Services have completed another project to help get information out to students in a timely manner. The College sent the first emails today to students who have been dropped from courses because of the reasons below—mainly by the purge process or use of the DC or CX codes. Please see example email below:
They are sent through a generic email account SJCD.INFO@sjcd.edu which has no feature to receive emails back. Please do not ask students to reply to this email. If students have questions they should contact the Counseling Departments at their Campuses. And remember that these are only sent once a day. If the students feel they have already corrected the situation then by looking at their SOS registration, they will be able to reassure themselves that all is OK. These will be sent daily if any of the codes are used or the purge process takes place.
