Snagit is a software package that allows you to capture all or part of the display from your screen as an image file. The captured image can then be combined with other images, edited, and annotated with symbols, and specified areas can be magnified and/or highlighted. Once the image is finalized, it can be shared with other programs, including Word and PowerPoint and organized with user-defined keywords into specified folders.

How to Access
Snagit is a software that requires a paid license. San Jacinto has a limited number of licenses and they have been placed on specific computers on all of the campuses. If you would like to use the program, contact an instructional designer or trainer for information on where these pre-installed licenses are located. To request a copy of your license be installed on your ofifce computer, submit the request form. Should licenses not be available, contact TechSupport for information on similiar software available for use.

Costs
There are no costs to faculty or staff using Snagit.

Additional Equipment
There is no additional equipment needed to use Snagit on a pre-installed computer.
