Below are support request and feedback forms which may be submitted to the EdTech Design, Blackboard Support or Training teams. Please be sure to enter all information carefully; your request or feedback will be emailed to the appropriate EdTech’er. Check back often, we’ll be adding additional support and feedback forms over time.
Blackboard Related Requests
Request an Archive Copy of a Blackboard Course. If you do not have access to an archive/export copy of a course site you used in previous semesters, you may request to receive an archive package of the course. That archive package may be imported into a Blackboard course shell. Basically, if you need to get content from an old course site from the old Blackboard server, this is the form you need to complete. You may request up to 5 course archives at one time.
Request Course Sites be Combined. If you are teaching multiple sections of the same course and would like to manage all sections from the same course site, you can request the sections be combined into a single course site. All of your content and students in that course will be contained in the single course section. You may request up to 5 course sites be combined together using this form; if you need to combine more than 5 sites, please contact the EdTech Blackboard Support team.
Request an Organizational Blackboard Site. If you are the leader of an organization of the college, and would like to have a Blackboard site created, please click the link, and complete the form. Most requests are completed within 48 business hours.
Request Content Repository Space. To request an assigned space in our Content Repository system, fill out this form. If you have any questions, please contact Sherry Ransdell, Director of Instructional Design Services via email@example.com.
Request SJC Licensed Camtasia / Snagit Installation. To request the installation of a SJC EdTech purchased license of Camtasia / Snagit, please complete the form below. Due to the limited number of licenses, requests require approval before installation. If you have any questions, please contact Niki Whiteside at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Request Training / Consultation. You can request training on a specific topic or a consultation to help you determine what training may help you. We will try to accommodate all requests, based on instructor availability and familiarity with the requested topic. If you have any questions, please contact Valschkia Dabney at email@example.com.
Request Program Video Development. To request the development of a video for your program or department, please complete the form below. Requests for campus-specific program videos will require additional approvals to move forward. If you have any questions, please contact Sherry Ransdell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Request Event Taping. To request a taping of a special event, please complete the form below. Special events taping requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance, if possible. Requests not submitted within this time frame will be contingent on scheduling and personnel availability. Additional questions can be directed to Sherry Ransdell at email@example.com.
Request Training Lab. Complete this form to reserve one of the Training & Professional Development computer labs at (Central 1.219, North 2.207, or South 12.214). Use the links below for detailed information and specifications for each location. Please note the rooms are not reserved until the room request form has been completed and you receive a confirmation email. The training labs are available Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
